A house to stay in
Quiet rooms, a long table, and the slow part of the day.
Somewhere to arrive without a plan: a handful of rooms, food cooked for whoever is at the table, and space enough to hear the garden.

The House
A small house, deliberately kept small.
Aster House holds twenty-two guest rooms on the Big Sur coast. That number is the whole idea: few enough that the house never feels like a hotel, enough that there is always somewhere quiet to sit and watch the weather move across the water.
Everything a stay needs is here — the restaurant, the treatment rooms, the trails that leave from the door — so that arriving is the last decision you have to make.

Rooms
Twenty-two rooms, each facing the Pacific.
- 01
Oriented to the water
Rooms are turned toward the Pacific, so the ocean is the first thing in the frame each morning.
- 02
Twenty-two, no more
The house keeps twenty-two rooms in total. Occupancy stays low and the corridors stay quiet.
- 03
Made for long stays
Light, air and a place to put a book down. Rooms are designed to be lived in, not passed through.

The Table
Dinner is downstairs.
The restaurant is on site, which in Big Sur matters more than it sounds: the road is long and the evenings are dark. Guests eat where they sleep, with the coast still in view.

On-site restaurant
Open to guests of the house, a short walk from every room.
Ocean in view
The dining room is oriented to the same Pacific horizon as the rooms.
No need to drive
Arrive once. The evening is already here.
Wellness & Trails
Treatments inside. Trails outside.
Wellness treatments are available on site, booked around your days rather than the other way around. Private walking trails begin at the house and move out through the landscape toward the water.
Most guests find a rhythm by the second morning: walk early, eat slowly, and let the afternoon go where it wants.
Wellness treatments
Offered on site, for guests of the house.
Private walking trails
Leaving directly from Aster House grounds.
